VIRTUS RPG Fit ("VIRTUS", "we", "our", or "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, stored, and protected when you use VIRTUS RPG Fit.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on the features you use, VIRTUS may process information such as:

• Account information, such as display name, username, and account identifiers.
• Profile information voluntarily provided by the user.
• Fitness information, including workouts, exercises, sets, repetitions, training history, and activity records.
• Activity information such as steps, walking or running distance, and workouts when the user explicitly authorizes access through Apple Health or other supported health platforms.
• Approximate or activity-related location information when location-based fitness features are used and permission has been granted.
• Photos selected by the user for profile features.
• Technical information necessary for security, authentication, reliability, and operation of the App.

2. Apple Health and Health Data

VIRTUS may request access to certain Apple Health data only after receiving the user's explicit permission.

Health information may be used to provide fitness-related features such as activity tracking, step information, workout history, distance tracking, and personal progress within VIRTUS.

Access to Apple Health is optional. Users may manage or revoke permissions at any time through their device settings.

VIRTUS does not use health information for advertising purposes and does not sell health information.

3. How We Use Information

Information may be used to:

• Provide and operate VIRTUS RPG Fit.
• Record workouts and fitness progress.
• Calculate in-app XP, levels, ranks, achievements, and challenges.
• Provide social and competitive features selected by the user.
• Maintain account security and prevent abuse.
• Improve reliability and performance.
• Provide customer support.

4. Location

If the user chooses to use location-based activity features, VIRTUS may process location information necessary to record activities such as walking, running, cycling, or hiking.

Location permission is requested only when required by an enabled feature. Profile location and precise device location are treated as separate information.

5. Social Features

VIRTUS may include optional social features such as friends, challenges, leaderboards, achievements, usernames, ranks, and public profile information. Users control available privacy options for their profile where supported.

Sensitive health information and precise activity routes are not intended to be publicly displayed through social profiles.

6. Purchases and Subscriptions

VIRTUS may offer optional premium subscriptions. Purchases made through Apple platforms are processed by Apple using the user's Apple ID. VIRTUS does not directly receive the user's full payment card information from Apple.

7. Sharing of Information

VIRTUS does not sell users' personal information. Information may be processed by service providers when necessary to operate the App, such as infrastructure, authentication, analytics, or technical services, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, comply with applicable legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements.

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information through available account controls or by contacting us. Certain information may be retained where legally required.

9. Children's Privacy

VIRTUS includes safety-conscious fitness design. Features available to minors may be restricted or adapted where appropriate. We do not knowingly use children's personal information for targeted advertising.

10. Permissions

Features requiring access to health information, location, photos, camera, or other protected device resources request permission through the operating system. Users may deny or revoke these permissions through their device settings.

11. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. However, no electronic system or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as VIRTUS evolves. The current version will be published on this page together with its latest revision date.
